Who Can Contribute

Any individual may contribute to the MHAPAC. We strongly encourage employees who have policymaking, managerial, professional supervisory or administrative non-clerical responsibilities to contribute to the MHAPAC. Board trustees and volunteers may also contribute.

All contributions must be voluntary and have no impact on job status, performance review or compensation.

Ways to Give:

Contributions to the MHAPAC and/or AHAPAC are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year. Montana State Law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employers of individuals whose contributions exceed $35. All contributions must be voluntary and have no impact on job status, performance review or compensation. All contributions will be used for political purposes. A portion of qualified MHAPAC contributions are transferred to the American Hospital Association Political Action Committee to support Montana’s congressional delegation.
